We are excited to share the video highlights of the Christmas Gift-Giving event sponsored by the NSTP-CWTS Batch Alpas, led by Christian Gatchalian and Queen Ashley Mendizabal. The event took place on December 14, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Tagumpay Day Care Center, Brgy. Tagumpay, Cubao, Quezon City.
The event was warmly welcomed by Hon. Ventura Ferreras, Jr., the Barangay Captain, who expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the initiative. His message underscored the importance of giving and the joy it brings, especially during the Yuletide season. “This event is a beautiful reminder of the spirit of Christmas, where we come together to share love and happiness,” he said.
Our project coordinator, Christian Gatchalian, shared the rationale behind the event, highlighting the significance of education and how it can transform lives. “Through this gift-giving program, we not only provide material gifts but also support the educational journey of these young learners. Education is the key to a brighter future,” Christian emphasized.
Messages from our partners added depth to the event. Mr. Lorenz Subala, Past President of Rotary Club of Quirino, noted, “This partnership demonstrates our collective commitment to community service and the lasting impact we can make together.” Mr. Vergelio Bracamonte, 2025 LO President of JCI Binangonan Calvarios, echoed this sentiment, adding, “Supporting the youth through education and community activities aligns perfectly with our mission to build better leaders for tomorrow.”
The day was filled with joy and laughter as the kids enjoyed face painting, storytelling, and parlor games. Loot bags, filled with snacks and refreshments, brought smiles to their faces, while the distribution of bags and school supplies underscored the importance of education. These activities not only entertained the children but also reinforced the values of learning and sharing.
The event concluded with a touching closing remark from Mr. Markharem P. Blanquisco, CWTS Coordinator of NCBA Cubao campus. He reflected on how the event aligns with the mission and vision of the CWTS, which emphasizes community service and development. “Our mission is to cultivate responsible and compassionate individuals. Today’s event is a testament to how we can make a difference, one act of kindness at a time,” Blanquisco stated.
At NCBA, we are committed to supporting initiatives like these that foster education and community spirit. This event perfectly embodies our dedication to holistic growth and social responsibility, ensuring that we help build a brighter future for all.
Watch the video highlights and experience the heartwarming moments that made this event unforgettable. Together, we made a difference in the lives of these young learners.
