A new school year begins—and with it, a fresh batch of dreams and possibilities.
On August 6, 2025, the NCBA Taytay Campus officially welcomed 297 freshmen and transferees during the College Orientation and General Assemblies held at the campus gymnasium. The event was a vibrant gathering designed to guide new students as they take their first steps into college life.
The orientation was led by Ms. Ester P. David, Assistant Vice President for Human Resources and Officer-in-Charge of NCBA Taytay Campus, along with Dr. Angeles A. De Guzman, Chief Academic Officer. Joining them were key officials including Dr. John S. Ursua, College Dean; Dr. Maricel D. Makinano, Research Director; and Dr. Grace A. Rico, Chief Librarian, who all shared words of encouragement and guidance.
Dr. De Guzman introduced the Academic Chairpersons of the Taytay Campus: Dr. Noel F. Antijendra for Education and Liberal Arts, Prof. Julius Salonga for Computer Science, Prof. Daisy Crisolo for Business Administration and Accountancy, and Prof. Chester Mogol for Hospitality Management. Each department head warmly welcomed the students and gave a brief overview of what lies ahead in their academic journey.
The Academic Support Team was also present and introduced to the student body. These included Ms. Helen Decendio from the Registrar’s Office, Ms. Sony Cabale from Finance, Ms. Ann Francheska Ramirez from Guidance and Counseling, Mr. Christopher Tayor from MIS, Ms. Kristel Mira from the Clinic, SO Leand Carreon for Campus Security, and Mr. Markharem P. Blanquisco from the Office of Student Affairs. Their roles are crucial in ensuring student welfare and success beyond the classroom.
With energy, excitement, and a strong support system in place, the orientation marked the beginning of a promising year. New Wildcats were not just welcomed—they were empowered to thrive.
