“Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime” is a quote from the Chinese philosopher Lao Tzu, founder of Taoism, so to help our brethren, the National College of Business and Arts, Community Outreach Program-Taytay conducted the Livelihood Program of the adopted community in Purok 18 Javier Compound, Barangay San Juan, Taytay Rizal last march 20, 2021.
The participants were composed of single mothers, senior citizens and a worker in the barangay. They were taught Basic sanitation and Peanut Butter making by the Program Head of the Hospitality Management, Mr. Chester Mogol.
This Peanut butter making will be the start of the Livelihood program, the next will be Chili Garlic Oil, Non-Baked Cookies and marinated pork and chicken.
