To train the students to become good and effective leaders and to educate the proper way of writing their campus paper are the reasons why the Office of Students Affairs conducted the Leadership and Journalism Seminar last July 8, 2017. The participants were the newly-elected officers of the different recognized student-organizations. The Junior Public Institute of Accountants (JPIA), Bachelor of Arts and Education Society (ABSS), Hotel and Restaurant Management Society (HRMS), Junior Financial Executives (JMA), Human Resource Development Association (HRDMA), Junior Marketing Association (JMA), Information System Society (ISSOC) Kalinangan Ensemble, ROTARACT-CUBAO and The New Frontier Staff were among those who attended.

The lecturers were alumni from the National College of Business and Arts Fairview campus, Ms. Katrina Senosin, BSEd English major, Magna Cum Laude, Batch 2010 and Albert Martinez, BSEd English major, Batch 2012, former President of Society of Empowered Education Students (SEEdS). The students were given a lecture and workshop during the seminar to enhance their skills.
