NCBA elem/high school department joined the annual sports festival last November 6-13, 2017. Intramural began with a parade led by the NCBA Drum and Lyre. It then ascended to the lightening of torch which was welcomed with thundering applause from the students. As soon as everyone gathered into their proper places, the pageant of Miss Intramural 2017 started. The title was battled among 11 gorgeous ladies from junior high school department, while there were ten elegant muses from senior high. Each were equipped with their best sport outfit, clothed with confidence, and carried a bright smile to outdo all the competing candidates. Finally, Kristine Faith D. Manalo was hailed Miss Intramural 2017 for junior high and Shalom L. Castillo for senior high.
What came after were all the sports which all the students have been waiting for namely basketball boys, volleyball boys and girls, badminton, table tennis and chess. The gymnasium and all the gaming areas were painted of the sight of players in their colorful jerseys. Amidst all the droplets of sweats, screams due to body aches, deafening cheers, and wild breathings rose the determination, teamwork, hard work, and the heart aspiring to claim victory. During those days, we witnessed how NCBAnians excelled not just academically, but also, in the field of sports.
