The Community Outreach Program of National College of Business and Arts Cubao Campus launched the making of dishwashing liquid and hand soap this 11th day of November 2022. This program is in support for the livelihood program of the NCBA Cubao’s adopted families from Barangay Escopa 3.

Ms. Nida Nasol, alumna of NCBA Cubao, batch 2022 and young entrepreneur, was the guest speaker for COP livelihood training. She ventured into the world of business by opening a water station and making short delivery meals at the height of the pandemic. Now she is creating self-made liquid soaps. Ms. Nasol successfully owned her first water station business which she named ‘Kristal Ocean Water Refilling Station’ located in Antipolo. Her second success was the making of hand soap and dishwashing liquid which she chose to teach and demonstrate to the adopted members of COP.

A demonstration was held as well as the distribution of basic ingredients and materials to the families to smoothly begin the business. After the actual demonstration of dishwashing and hand soap making, the recipients experienced firsthand on how to
make liquid soaps.

“Ang pinaka unang strategy sa marketing at business ay ang paggawa ng logo. Logo na tatatak sa isip ng ating mga buyers.” — says Mr. Jhul Rhio, a professor of Business Administration and head of the COP Cubao campus. He enthusiastically gave the opening speech and marketing strategies to help the group on how to be creative and start effectively to continue earning.

Ms. Zenaida Miranda, professor and director of the Student Affairs Department – Cubao, ended the afternoon’s activity through words of encouragement. She reminded the families to prosper the knowledge and skills they learned, and make profits in progress.

Hence, It was another productive, helpful, and triumphant day for the COP families of Barangay Escopa 3 which was conducted in the Tea Room of NCBA Cubao. Also, kudos to Ms. Chloie Alvarado, 4th year Business Administration student, who was the mistress of the ceremony, and Mr. Kenneth Ian Madera, another BA student, who serenaded the attendees through the soothing sounds of the violin.
