The NCBA Library proudly launches the Book Trailer Project: Revitalizing Literacy through Visual Marketing—an exciting literacy initiative that transforms books into engaging digital stories!

We invite all NCBA students to visit the library, explore our collection, and adopt a library book—preferably one related to your academic program or field of study. This project is an opportunity to showcase your creativity while promoting reading and the rich resources available in our library.

🎥 Create an original 30–60 second Book Trailer using your creativity, storytelling skills, and your favorite free editing applications.

📖 Project Highlights
✅ Visit the NCBA Library and adopt a book.
✅ Choose a title related to your course or area of interest whenever possible.
✅ Create an engaging 30–60 second book trailer.
✅ Complete the project during your free time so it does not interfere with your regular classes and academic responsibilities.

🌐 All approved entries will be featured on the official NCBA Library Facebook page, where the NCBA community can watch, react to, and share your creative work.

🏅 The Top Three (3) entries with the highest number of Facebook reactions will receive special library tokens and a Certificate of Appreciation during the National Book Week Culminating Activity.

👏 All students who successfully complete and submit the required outputs will receive a Certificate of Participation in recognition of their creativity and contribution to promoting reading and library resources.

Library Orientation 2026: Welcoming Our Freshmen and Transferees!

The National College of Business and Arts Library successfully conducted the Library Orientation for all first-year students and transferees across Cubao, Fairview, and Taytay campuses simultaneously.

The orientation introduced students to the library’s resources, services, facilities and library rules and regulations. Through this activity, students were guided on how they can maximize the
library’s resources in support of their academic and research needs.

Library Advisory – April 13, 2026

Please be informed that borrowing of books for home use is temporarily suspended.
📚 The loan period for home use ends one (1) week before the final examination. Books not returned on time will incur fines:

• Reserve Books: ₱40.00/day
• Circulation Books: ₱25.00/day

✅ Students and faculty may still use library materials for Room Use Only, provided items are returned before closing time.

⚠️ Those with pending library accountabilities are encouraged to settle them as soon as possible to avoid delays in securing clearance.

Annual Book Evaluation and Selection Activity

The NCBA Library successfully conducted the Faculty–Library Book Committee Annual Book Evaluation and Selection Activity last March 2, 2026, at the Cubao College Library.

The activity was spearheaded by the Committee Chair, Dr. Angeles De Guzman, Chief Academic Officer, in collaboration with the Faculty–Library Book Committee members and the Library Team. Program Heads and representatives from the Cubao, Fairview, and Taytay campuses actively participated in the comprehensive evaluation and selection of new academic resources.

This annual initiative reflects the institution’s strong commitment to academic excellence, ensuring that library collections remain relevant, updated, and responsive to the evolving curricular and instructional needs of the various programs. Through collaborative review and careful selection, the Committee continues to strengthen the Library’s role as a vital partner in teaching, learning, and research.
