Retro Glow: Extravaganza Night in the 80s

Retro Glow: Extravaganza Night in the 80s

The National College of Business and Arts-Fairview celebrated the NCBA Night in the school’s quadrangle on March 8, 2024, igniting the night through glowing outfits, electrifying music, and blinding lights—embodying the theme “Retro Glow: Extravaganza Night in the 80s.

Many students and faculty members from different departments came through the gates as if they had just taken a DeLorean time machine from the 80s and into the glowing neon lights of longing nostalgia for a time long passed. Garbed in attire of that decade’s hedonism and excess, of magazine dresses, bright polo shirts, and suit and ties, it will be an Olympian challenge to not say that the attendees of this year’s NCBA Night, without a shadow of a doubt, understood the assignment.

Another highlight of the event was the awarding of our outstanding alumni who excelled in their fields. From the Education department, Ms. Katrina Canong-Senosin, for Hospitality Management, Mr. Dino Balidoy and Ms. Jubelyn R. Deguzman, and for Accountancy, Mr. John Elson Baguipo.

For the other alumni who chose to serve NCBA as members of the academe, a certificate of recognition was awarded to the following alumni whose dedication and devotion were commendable: Ms. Mary Luh Salas, Mr. John Michael Camba, Mr. Vincent Miranda, Mr. Ray Monn Delos Angeles Tamalayan, Mr.Eddie Gene Delmendo, Ms. Allyza Marie P. Paguio and our program heads in Business Administration, Ms. Jenny Morales and Hospitality Management Head, Mr. Chester Mogol.
